According to the Wall Street Journal’s Joe Palazzolo and Ted Mann, an inquiry by the WWE board of directors has found a hidden $3 million settlement paid out by chairman and CEO Vince McMahon to hide an alleged affair with a former employee.
Reports state that the employee in question was employed as a paralegal in 2019 and eventually resigned after allegedly signing a separation agreement in January that prohibited her from discussing the relationship.
