On Monday afternoon, Bellator light heavyweight fighter Melvin Manhoef reportedly tracked down three alleged burglars who reportedly attempted to rob his home in Landsmeer, Netherlands. He reportedly drove them off the road and smashed into their car window using his bare hands.

Manhoef said that he pinned the men down until the police showed up.

This was allegedly the second time the men tried to break into Manhoefs house. The first time he wasn’t home, this time he was.

He is scheduled to fight in Bellator 280 on May 6, but it is unknown if his injured hand could play a role in his ability to compete.

Speaking with MMA Fighting, Manhoef said, “My instinct was, you cannot come around my family. This is like, rule No. 1. Don’t touch my family. If you do that, yeah, you’re going to pay for it. If I have to face charges, it is what it is. I did something wrong because I hit the car, but I hit it with a purpose, because I know they were in my house.”
