Just a day after signing defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, the Cowboys were supposedly agreeing to a deal with another defensive end in Randy Gregory. Dallas and Gregory agreed to terms on a five-year, $70 million that includes, $28 million guaranteed, according to Yahoo! Sports, or so we thought.

It turns out Gregory is now signing with the Denver Broncos after the deal with Dallas fell through.

Gregory was suspended 14 games in 2016, due to the NFL’s substance-abuse policy. He was then suspended for the entire 2017 season, then two games in 2018, and the entire 2019 campaign. Gregory was then suspended for the first six games in 2020 before being reinstated by the NFL.
