NFL To Announce Committee To Review League And Club Policies After A Lack Of Diversity In Hiring

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, The NFL will announce a new committee today that includes business leaders, academics and former Texans GM Rick Smith.
The committee will be tasked to review league and club policies in light of ongoing concerns over a lack of diversity in hiring.
Last season, the league saw two of its minority coaches fired. Former Dolphins head coach Brian Flores ended a three-year stint in Miami after a 9-8 season. Houston’s David Culley was also fired after just one season with the Texans.
Flores was fired on January 10th while Culley was fired on January 13th.
