Per the autopsy report from the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office, former Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas allegedly died due to “complications of a seizure disorder”. The autopsy was performed the next day after Thomas was found dead inside of his home at the age of 33.

The autopsy allegedly found traces of marijuana and nicotine in Thomas’s system, but neither had been listed as a contributing factor that led to his death. While family members have openly stated that Thomas has experienced seizures in the last year, former teammates have stated that Thomas also suffered from them in the months prior to his death.

Thomas retired from the NFL in June 2021 and would’ve turned 34-years-old on Christmas.
