NBA player Iman Shumpert was arrested at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport last Saturday.

According to the police report, TSA screeners found a plastic bag filled with weed in Shumpert’s bag that weighed just over six ounces and he admitted it was weed.

Cops say the substance tested positive for marijuana.

Shumpert was boarding a Delta plane to Los Angeles, saying he was going to visit his daughter, but was placed under arrest for marijuana possession. He was placed in handcuffs and transported to the airport jail.

The charge is a felony and Shumpert could face up to two years in jail and a $10K fine, if convicted.

Cops also say Shumpert had a Glock magazine and 14 9mm rounds in his bag but no gun.

Shumpert formerly played as a guard for the Brooklyn Nets in 2020-21. The former NBA champ has played for the Knicks, Cavaliers, Kings and Rockets.
