According to records acquired by ESPN, a veteran Phoenix Suns employee left the team last month. The employee says she was the victim of bullying and retribution by supervisors after voicing concerns about gender equity and misbehavior inside the organization.

Melissa Fender Panagiotakopoulos, who joined the Suns in August 2007, resigned on May 20 in an email to 16 members of the ownership group, including main owner Robert Sarver, urging them to address what she called a poisonous and sexist workplace atmosphere.
