Investigation Underway After Former Saints Lineman Glenn Foster Jr. Dies Shortly After Being Taken Into Police Custody
31-year-old Glenn Foster Jr., a former New Orleans Saints player, died shortly after being taken into custody by police. Foster was reportedly first taken into police custody in Alabama early Saturday morning and booked on counts of reckless endangerment, resisting arrest and attempting to elude police. The following day, on Sunday, he was rebooked on counts of simple assault and robbery. Foster died Monday, according to various news reports. The cause of death for the father of two is under investigation and unknown at this time.
