The recent allegations made against Dolphins owner Stephen Ross, by former Miami head coach Brian Flores, will not only force a closer look into the league’s ties to the gaming industry, but also pose a grave threat to the integrity of the 102-year-old league, according to several sports betting insiders and academics. Flores alleges that Stephen Ross offered him $100,000 for every game intentionally lost in 2019 in order to improve their position in the NFL draft.
