How Former Pro-Bowler & Browns DE Bill Glass Ministered to Millions of People in Prisons & the NFL.

Bill Glass, a former defensive end with the Cleveland Browns and four time Pro-Bowler who held the Browns team record for career sacks, died on December 5th at the age of 86. Few knew the impact Glass had on the faith of his colleagues and incarcerated individuals. Glass, an evangelist, made a tremendous impact with his prison ministry, reporting through his foundation that they had trained almost 60,000 Christians to share their faith, reaching over six million incarcerated men, women and youth.

Glass was also responsible for many prayer services in locker rooms and before and after NFL games. He also worked on behalf of causes related to racial equality and injustice.
