A Las Vegas Judge ruled Thursday that prosecutors can get access to the medical records and blood test results of former Raiders’ wide receiver Henry Ruggs III. The former NFL player is facing felony charges of DUI causing death and reckless driving after prosecutors say he was driving 156 mph and impaired before striking the car of Tina Tintor.

Police said Ruggs’ blood alcohol level was .16, double the legal limit in Nevada. The crash sent Tintor’s vehicle up in flames and she and her dog died. The Judge said Thursday that “blood test results will be released, in addition to the authentication of the medical records,” but said he would not allow any information related to conversations between Ruggs and the medical personnel treating him, to preserve the confidentiality of the doctor-patient relationship.
