Evander Kane Seen in Video Pointing Gun At Estranged Wife

Evander Kane’s estranged wife posted a video on her social media page showing the former NHL player raising a gun in the air and then allegedly pointing it at her. Anna Kane claims the gun was loaded and called Kane a “psychopath” on her social account.
Kane claims through his attorneys that the gun was a prop in a photo shoot but Anna denies this. The two are in the middle of a very heated divorce . After posting the video, Anna claims that Kane now has custody of their daughter. Her recent posts are embedded below. Evander’s attorneys issued a statement to TMZ saying,
“She posted videos, taken intentionally out of context, from a professional photo shoot bothparties participated in back in 2020,” Evander’s attorneys said in a statement to TMZ Sports.
“Her conduct, unfortunately, is consistent with her prior actions throughout this [divorce] case. Each time, we hope it will be the last. Each time, we strive to keep the peace and put the best foot forward. Each time, Evander is exonerated and Ms. Kane’s allegations are unsubstantiated.”
The attorneys continued, “Evander continues to hope Ms. Kane gets the help she needs, and requests privacy for everyone involved.”
Kane was waived last month by the San Jose Sharks and assigned to the AHL’s San Jose Barracuda.
