Dustin Johnson Included In The First Field For The Saudi-Backed LIV Golf Invitational Series
Two-time PGA major champion Dustin Johnson will be competing in the first LIV Golf Invitational Series event, which is backed by Saudi investors.
LIV Golf revealed the roster of 42 participants in the field on Tuesday night. Sergio Garcia, Kevin Na, Louis Oosthuizen, Ian Poulter, Charl Schwartzel, and Lee Westwood are also on the list.
On Feb. 29, Johnson released a statement on social media mentioning that he was “fully committed to the PGA Tour.”
LIV Golf also left one spot open, which most people assume is for Phil Mickelson.
