COVID surveillance testing of players and staff is no longer required, the NFL Management Council informed NFL teams tonight. This is regardless of an individual’s vaccination status.

“COVID testing will continue to occur “as clinically required and/or at the discretion of the Club Physician,” according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, and any individual experiencing symptoms must quickly report them and have a negative test before accessing the club facilities.”

Furthermore, there will be no more “Tier” limits in the clubs’ facilities or travel party, and clubs will be able to choose whether or not to require COVID vaccines/boosters for employees, according to state legislation.
