Colin Kaepernick appeared on the I AM ATHLETE show to discuss his future in the NFL, among other things.

Kaep stated he was willing to not be a starter if it meant he could return to the league.

“I know I have to find my way back in. So if I have to come in as a backup, that’s fine,” Kaepernick said.

“But that’s not where I’m staying,” he said. “And when I prove that I’m a starter, I want to be able to step on the field as such. I just need that opportunity to walk through the door.”
