Colin Kaepernick has put the NFL on notice that he’s ready for a chance at a roster spot.

He has posted his throwing sessions on Instagram, along with workouts with current NFL players like Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett.

Showing support for a possible Kaepernick return to the NFL was AOC, or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, commenting clapping hands on his recent IG video.

AOC has been the U.S. representative for New York’s 14th congressional district since 2019.

Kaepernick took to Twitter to let the world know that he was still ready for an opportunity. “For The past 5 years I’ve been working out and staying ready in case an opportunity to play presented itself. I’m really grateful to my trainer, who I’ve been throwing to all this time. But man, do I miss throwing to professional route runners. Who’s working?? I will pull up.”

Spike Lee has also shown support for Kaepernick’s push to get back in the league. Lee and Kaepernick were seen courtside at the Grizzlies-Knicks game on February 2nd, the same day it was announced Lee will direct a multi-part documentary on Kaepernick.

After the Seahawks traded Russell Wilson a few days ago, there could be an opening in the Seattle quarterback room.
