Anaheim Mayor Resigns Amid Federal Investigation Into Plans To Sell Angels Stadium Site
The mayor of Anaheim, California, Harry Sidhu, is resigning amid a federal investigation related to a plan to sell the Los Angeles Angels stadium, the city said Monday.
Sidhu resigned effectively on Tuesday the 24th, he said in a letter to the city. According to an FBI affidavit, Sidhu may have supplied nonpublic information to Angels representatives during the sale process.
