While Saint Petersburg is set to host the UCL Final later this spring, UEFA is pulling hosting rights for Russia due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, which is just under 840 miles from the host stadium.

UEFA released a statement, saying, “Following the evolution of the situation between Russia and Ukraine, the UEFA president has called an extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee for 10 a.m. CET [4 a.m. ET] on Friday 25 February, in order to evaluate the situation and take all necessary decisions.”
