After his rant on Twitter, saying multiple racist and homophobic comments that targeted both Jews and Christians, minor leaguer Brett Netzer was immediately released by the Boston Red Sox.
“I am a racist. I do sometimes make assumptions based on a person’s race/ethnicity/culture. Glad that is out of the way.” Netzer tweeted on Saturday.
