Audra Smith Fired After Filing Lawsuit Against South Carolina State, Alleges Discriminatory Practices

Coach Audra Smith of the South Carolina State women’s basketball team, after officially filing a lawsuit against the school, was fired on Thursday. Smith alleges that there has been Title IX violations, and discriminatory practices such as being provided fewer resources than the men’s programs.
