Following the Supreme Court’s recent decision in Alston v. NCAA, questions remain about the future of college athletics and how NCAA governance will work. As discussions emerge about whether college athletes should have their own union, many of the students are fighting back against the term “Student Athlete,” and insisting that playing for University teams is a job.
