Stuart Sternberg, owner of the Tampa Bay Rays, is being sued by a group of the team’s minority partners. This group has claimed that Sternberg allegedly transferred operational control away from an existing partnership structure to “Rays Baseball Club”, an entity that he controls, without their prior knowledge and profited from it.
