NHL’s Bobby Ryan was allegedly caught shoplifting in a Nashville Airport Terminal. Police officers say they approached Ryan in a bar he walked into after putting down the alleged stolen items, and claimed that the player showed signs of being impaired.

“Ryan’s speech was incoherent, he had blood-shot eyes and he reeked of alcohol,” according to reports from Police.

Ryan allegedly resisted arrest and became hostile. Ryan was booked on public intoxication charges, as reports claim that he was unaware of his location and that he posed a threat himself. The case against Ryan was reportedly dismissed with no explanation yet to be given. The 35 year-old is currently a free-agent.
