Urban Meyer Under Fire For Heated Argument with Marvin Jones & Allegedly Calling Assistant Coaches “Losers”

Urban Meyer’s NFL stint with the Jaguars has been surrounded by controversial news reports. Most recently, the coach received flack for an encounter caught on video at a bar, where a woman, who was not his wife, was dancing on him. But now the controversy is coming from the locker room. The allegations include Meyer getting into a heated argument with veteran receiver Marvin Jones and verbal lashings directed toward his assistant coaches, calling them “losers”, among other things, according to NFL Network Reporter Tom Pelissero. Meyer denies the exact language but says he is “hard on them.” The Jaguars are 2-10.
