Texas A&M WR Ainias Smith Suspended Following DWI, Drug, And Weapon Carrying Arrest

Ainias Smith, the Texas A&M standout wide receiver, has been suspended after his arrest early Wednesday.

According to Brazos County, Texas, jail records, Smith was charged with DWI, unauthorized carrying of a firearm, and possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana. 

Smith served as the Aggies’ team captain last season. He led his squad with six touchdowns on 47 catches and finished the year with 509 receiving yards. 

Defensive Back Demani Richardson and Offensive Lineman Layden Robinson will join head coach Jimbo Fisher at the event on Thursday.
