Eric Kay, the Los Angeles Angels’ former communications director, who is currently being tried on multiple Federal Drug Charges, is attempting to delay his trial and, has provided no evidence in connection with the case against him, according to recent Court filings in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Jury selection for the trial is slated to begin at 10 a.m. Monday, November 8, 2021 with updated instructions being provided by the government to prospective jurors.

Judge Amos Mazzant III denied Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle La’el Collins’ request for a temporary restraining order against the NFL and his bid to overturn his 5-game suspension. On Friday the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas held a hearing to consider Collins’ request for a temporary restraining order against the NFL, however, the Court did not immediately rule as Collins was not able to play in Sunday’s 44-20 thrashing of the New York Giants by the Dallas Cowboys. On Tuesday, however, the Court put forth its ruling, denying  the embattled Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman’s bid to play.
