Roger Goodell Triumphs In Super Bowl Claims Suit Over Upset Browns Fan

NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell, was sued by Illinois resident Patricia Breckenridge on February 4, 2021, in a Chicago federal district court. Breckenridge, who is a fan of the Cleveland Browns, wanted an injunction to stop the upcoming Superbowl between the Kansas City Chiefs & Tampa Bay Buccaneers until the Browns were placed in the game. The commissioner ended up winning the suit after Judge Matthew Kennedy dismissed the case in March 2021.
