NFL: Miami Dolphins at New Orleans Saints

Saints star running back Alvin Kamara has a scheduled court date on August 1st after being charged with felony battery resulting in bodily harm back in February in Las Vegas, Nevada. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler tweeted on Saturday that the NFL is still monitoring the case, and that there is “no firm timetable” yet for a potential suspension of the 26-year-old.

Kamara continues to brace for a six-game suspension, but a league source reported to Fowler it’s possible that Kamara could still suit up to play in the 2022 regular season opener against the Atlanta Falcons.
