Report: Nike’s Phil Knight And Dodgers Smolinisky Make Offer To Buy Trail Blazers

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Nike’s Phil Knight and Alan Smolinisky of the Los Angeles Dodgers have made a bid to buy the Portland Trail Blazers.
Knight and Smolinisky met with the Paul Allen Trust, which is presently in charge of the franchise. “Phil Knight made a proposal. The franchise is still not for sale,” The Trail Blazers said in a statement on Thursday.
Forbes listed the Blazers value at $2.05 billion in 2021.
