Dan Ventrelle was fired from the Las Vegas Raiders today after 18 years with the franchise. He was dismissed by the team on Friday morning, according to Raiders owner Mark Davis.

No explanation was given by the Raiders themselves, but Ventrelle released a statement saying he was fired by Davis in retaliation to concerns he brought up of a hostile work environment within the organization.

Those issues were allegedly ignored, so Ventrelle says he brought them up to the NFL.

Ventrelle also announced that he retained counsel.
