During Sunday Night Football, Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills hosted Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The Packers went into Sunday night as 10.5 point underdogs, the first time in Rodgers’ career. The game surprisingly brought out a lot of high emotions and trash talking between the two teams and at one point linebacker Quay Walker was ejected.

Walker’s ejection came in the first half of the game, with 4:07 left to go. Walker was chasing down a run play that called the number of Bills running back James Cook. The play carried both teams over to the Bills sideline. The rookie linebacker was seen on video shoving a Bills coach after making it back to his feet. Walker was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Before the snap of the next play, the NFL officiating crew stopped the game and got together. Walker was then ejected after further discussion. The Bills finished off that drive to go up 21-7 against the Packers and 27-17 was the final score, in favor of the Bills with the Packers falling further behind the NFC North leaders, the Minnesota Vikings.

Walker was making his eighth game-appearance after being drafted 22nd overall in the 2022 NFL Draft. The rookie has put up decent numbers to start his career, netting 52 total tackles, one forced fumble and two passes defended going into Sunday night. Walker’s incident was one of two intense moments between the two teams, as Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander and Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs were seen having a heated verbal exchange before the game. Alexander was taking the field with his teammates as Diggs was following him out, shouting in the cornerback’s face.
