Ouachita Baptist Senior Clark Yarbrough Dies At 21-Years-Old After Sunday Morning Collapse

Ouachita Baptist University has announced that 21-year-old Senior defensive lineman Clark Yarbrough has passed away after collapsing Sunday morning. The cause of Yarbrough’s death is reportedly unknown. All thoughts and prayers are with Yarbrough’s family, friends, and loved ones as the school announced his passing on their official Twitter account.

Yarbrough played in all eleven games in 2021, finishing the year with 27 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and one QB pressure. The 2021 All-Great American Conference Honorable Mention posted a season-high seven tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss in the home victory over Arkansas Tech. In its 42-32 win on Thursday, Yarbrough recorded two tackles against Oklahoma Baptist; extending the school’s season-opening record to 15 consecutive wins, and 8 straight wins over Oklahoma Baptist.
