NFL announces it has hired former U.S. Attorney Mary Jo White to conduct the investigation into the allegations against Dan Snyder. The allegations were first made in a House Oversight Committee roundtable.

White previously worked with the league on the Ezekiel Elliott investigation and oversaw the bounty investigations for the New Orleans Saints.

She also led the investigation into the allegations against former Panthers owner Jerry Richardson of workplace misconduct, including sexual harassment and a racial slur. After the investigation, Richardson was forced to sell his team.

Despite past announcements, the NFL will publicly release the written report. After the report is released, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will determine any further actions to be taken by the league against the Commanders.
