New York Yankees Lose Appeal To Keep Manfred Letter Sealed

The New York Yankees have lost their appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. The Yankees were attempting to keep Rob Manfred’s letter to Brian Cashman regarding electronic sign stealing concealed. The Yankees are expected to release the letter, but have the ability to remove names, delete or obscure titles and take other steps so long as those measures don’t,“unduly interfere with the public’s right to access judicial documents in order to address privacy concerns.”
