An NBA trainer has been arrested and is currently being held without bail. Pro trainer Rob McClanaghan was reportedly arrested in Rhode Island and is accused of being a fugitive.

The charge arose after a warrant was issued for McClanaghan’s arrest. The trainer was accused of raping and drugging someone during an incident that allegedly took place in Boston, Massachusetts. No direct statement has been issued yet by police regarding the alleged incident in question. However, a news release was issued by the Boston Police Department that mentions the arrest of the pro trainer.

“The Boston Police Department advises the public of the dangerousness of scentless, colorless, and tasteless drugs such as Rohypnol, also known as roofie, being placed in the drinks of unsuspecting victims,” the release said in part.

The induced effects of Rohypnol include relaxing of muscles, decreased levels of anxiety, drowsiness, amnesia, sleep, slurred speech, loss of coordination, impaired mental function, and confusion. The drug is considered addictive, and not officially approved for use in the United States according to the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

McClanaghan has reportedly worked with many NBA players, including big time celebrities such as Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers, Derrick Rose, Carmelo Anthony and Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.
