MLB Players Association Creates $1 Million Fund To Help Workers Impacted By Lockout
The MLB Players Association announced on Friday that they were creating a $1 million fund to help workers who have been impacted by the lockout imposed by the league’s owners.
“Unfortunately, they will also be among those affected by the owner-imposed lockout and the cancellation of games. Through this fund, we want to let them know that they have our support,” MLBPA executive board leaders Andrew Miller & Max Scherzer said in a released statement.
