MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred Has Stated That The Tampa Bay Rays And Oakland Athletics Require New Ballpark Agreements As Soon As Possible
Tampa Bay Rays and Oakland Athletics need to secure a new ballpark contract quickly, and if they don’t, they may have to contemplate relocation, according to Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred.
“There is a sense of urgency in Tampa,” Manfred said at a news conference following an owners meeting on Thursday. “There needs to be a settlement for the Rays in the Tampa Bay area.”
