Max Scherzer Signs Deal With The New York Mets; Sets MLB Record For Average Annual Value
Max Scherzer has signed a three year deal with the New York Mets. The deal is three years for $130 Million, setting the record in MLB for average annual value of a contract. The deal breaks down to an average of $43.3 Million per year which breaks the previous record of $36 Million per year held by Gerrit Cole.
