Kicker Josh Lambo has sued the Jacksonville Jaguars for his $3.5 million salary for 2021, as well as emotional distress damages. Lambo says his performance allegedly suffered as a result of being booted and verbally abused by then-head coach Urban Meyer, according to the lawsuit.

Meyer and the Jaguars are accused of creating a hostile work environment in a complaint filed in Duval County 4th Judicial Circuit Court on Tuesday. Lambo’s release allegedly┬áviolated Florida’s Private Sector Whistleblower Act, according to the lawsuit, because he reported the event to the Jaguars’ legal counsel.
