Kicker Josh Lambo has sued the Jacksonville Jaguars for his $3.5 million salary for 2021, as well as emotional distress damages. Lambo says his performance allegedly suffered as a result of being booted and verbally abused by then-head coach Urban Meyer, according to the lawsuit.

Meyer and the Jaguars are accused of creating a hostile work environment in a complaint filed in Duval County 4th Judicial Circuit Court on Tuesday. Lambo’s release allegedly violated Florida’s Private Sector Whistleblower Act, according to the lawsuit, because he reported the event to the Jaguars’ legal counsel.
