Frank Gore Charged With Simple Assault Over Alleged Domestic Violence

Former NFL running back Frank Gore was reportedly charged with simple assault in Atlantic City, New Jersey this week. The charge comes from an alleged domestic violence incident between Gore and a 28-year-old woman who has yet to be identified. Police say that she was speaking with hotel security and “did not exhibit signs of injury and complaints were not filed at the time.”
No formal complaint was reportedly filed at the time, but an investigation by police was said to have ensued which resulted in the arrest of Gore. Gore’s court appearance is set to be in mid-October.
