Former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was charged with a DUI on Tuesday, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Police say Lynch was stopped when officers “suspected driver impairment.” Police conducted a vehicle stop at Fairfield Avenue and West Utah Avenue (near Wyoming and Las Vegas Blvd) on a driver, “later identified as Marshawn Lynch.”

After investigating, Lynch was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.

Lynch, a former Pro Bowler, played with the Raiders, when they were in Oakland, among other teams, spending 12 seasons in the NFL.

Lynch has had legal issues in the past. In June of 2008, Lynch pled guilty to a hit and run charge and his license was revoked. Lynch was driving a Porsche at 3:30 a.m. when he allegedly struck a woman and did not stop. When questioned, Lynch claimed he didn’t know he hit anyone.

Lynch was also arrested on July 14, 2012, in California for a DUI after officers saw him driving unsafely. He registered a 0.10 on a breathalyzer. In February 2014, Lynch pled guilty to a lesser charge of reckless driving and received two years of probation and a fine. He was ordered to attend driving classes.
