After the first five games of the NBA regular season, the Brooklyn Nets are not looking too hot. Fan frustration is mounting and in one instance, crossing the line. A fan in attendance during a recent Nets/Mavs game allegedly threw a cup of ice onto the court that nearly hit Mavericks star Luka Doncic. The incident occurred on Thursday. Shortly after the cup hit the court, 24-year-old Justin Boatswain, was taken into custody by security. He is now allegedly facing a misdemeanor charge, according to reports.

“Boatswain was immediately ID’ed as the cup-thrower, according to cops, and was escorted from his seat. Authorities say he was ultimately arrested and charged with a misdemeanor for interfering with a sporting event,” according to TMZ Sports.

Doncic told reporters during a postgame media press conference that the incident did not phase him in the slightest.

“I have experienced that in Europe. That’s nothing,” he said.

The Nets dropped to 1-4 on the season after losing 129-125 to the Mavericks in overtime. Doncic finished the night with a triple double in addition to coming away with three steals. The player racked up 41 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists.
