F1 Terminates Contract With Russian Grand Prix

As sanctions pile up against Russia, Formula One is added to the list of sports leagues taking action against Russia.
Formula One announced on Thursday that the Russian Grand Prix contract has been terminated and that there will be no races in Russia for the foreseeable future.
In a statement, Formula One stated, “”Formula One can confirm it has terminated its contract with the Russian Grand Prix promoter, meaning Russia will not have a race in the future.”
