When former Raider Damon Arnette was pulled over back in July for driving with a suspended license, he was given a chance to go home without any penalty. But, police got super pissed when they caught the former cornerback unlawfully driving again just four hours later.

TMZ published body cam footage of a police officer calling the former NFL cornerback a f***ing idiot while arresting him, lamenting over why Arnette didn’t heed his original warnings.

Based on reports, the officers had pulled Arnette over just a few hours earlier for driving with a suspended license. He was given a free pass and told not to drive again until his license was reinstated. But alas, they pulled him over again just before 1am, driving the same car.

“We gave you a f***ing break! You knew your f***ing license was suspended,” one of the cops told Arnette.

Arnette responded, “I got practice in the morning.”

The cops clearly didn’t care, saying in the video, “It doesn’t matter bro, you’re going to jail, bro.”

The police ended up searching Arnette and say they found a white powdery substance that looked like cocaine.

“Idiot,” the policeman later said. “You’re a f***ing idiot, bro. You had the chance. You had the chance to go home. You f***ed it up.”

On the way to the police station, the cop continued to vent his frustration with Arnette.

“Honestly, it sucks,” the cop added. “We can’t even give people warnings without them f***ing it up for themselves.”

Arnette was ultimately charged with felony cocaine possession and a misdemeanor for knowingly driving with a suspended license.

Arnette is reportedly attempting to resolve his cocaine case in Florida by entering into a diversion program. The player has a long history of run-ins with the law, many of which led to his release from more than one NFL team.

Back in January 2022, the 26-year-old was arrested in Las Vegas after he allegedly threatened a valet with a gun. A witness claimed that Arnette attempted to retrieve a car without a valet ticket, which led to a dispute that happened at the Park MGM on Las Vegas Boulevard. At that time, Arnette was reportedly charged with five felonies — 2 counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession of marijuana or cannabis and one count of carrying or concealing a gun without a permit.

Arnette was the 19th overall pick out of Ohio State in the 2020 draft to the Las Vegas Raiders. He was second-team all-Big Ten as a senior in 2019. He only played in 13 games in two seasons with the Raiders due to multiple injuries.

The Raiders then released him in November of 2021 following his appearance in a viral social media video that showed him allegedly brandishing firearms and making death threats. Arnette then spent the rest of the 2021 seasons on the Miami Dolphins practice squad and didn’t play. He then signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in January of 2022 but was released a week later after being charged with assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, and two counts of possession of controlled substances. Since then, no NFL team has signed him.
