Hornets player, Miles Bridges, was set to be a free agent in the NBA & potentially cash in on a major contract. Now that no longer appears to be the case. According to Sportando CEO, Emiliano Carchia, on Twitter, the Charlotte Hornets are expected to pull their contract offer to Bridges away.

This news comes in the wake of his wife, Mychelle Johnson posting photos of the alleged assault to her instagram, and wrote the following caption, “I hate  that it has come to this but I can’t be silent anymore. I’ve allowed someone to destroy my home, abuse me in every way possible and traumatize our kids for life. I have nothing to prove to the world, but I won’t allow anyone who could do something so horrible to have no remorse and paint a picture of something I’m not.”

Bridges turned himself in to the Los Angeles Police Department, and has been charged with felony domestic violence. His scheduled court date has been set for July 20.
