On Monday, Coach Brian Flores and Rep. Hank Johnson will discuss how forced arbitration impacts those who experience racial discrimination.
Forced arbitration has been a topic during the Brian Flores lawsuit discussion. Flores legal council has stated that the Dolphins wanted to force arbitration with Flores’ lawsuit.
The House of Representatives is set to take up H.R. 963 next week, the Forced Arbitration Injustice Repeal (FAIR) Act.
By forbidding businesses from concealing forced arbitration clauses in the fine print of employee documentation and consumer agreements, the bill would empower victims of discrimination, as well as anybody who has been wronged or deceived, to pursue their case in public.
