Attorney for Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder, Karen Patton Seymour, continues to stand her ground against the House Committee on Oversight and Reform. Things intensified between Seymour and the House on Wednesday after Seymour claimed to Chairwoman Carolyn B. Maloney that there was no valid basis to issue a subpoena for Snyder.
“There is no legitimate need for a subpoena to Mr. Snyder. The Committee’s proffered justification — that Mr. Snyder would otherwise invoke nondisclosure agreements ‘to withhold information from the Committee’ — is baseless.”
