New Alabama transfer arrival and former All-American cornerback Eli Ricks was arrested in Mississippi on accusations of speeding, driving without insurance, and marijuana possession on Sunday evening.

This was Ricks first time being charged with marijuana possession, according to an online database, and his bond was set to $0.

Ricks, a talented cornerback from California, began his career at LSU, where he was named Freshman All-SEC and AP All-American his freshman year.

He announced his intent to transfer shortly after head coach Ed Orgeron was fired.
